The BOSS programme is designed to provide up-skilling opportunities for twenty (20) local animation studios/ entrepreneurs. The programme will groom production entities and creative entrepreneurs (a creative entrepreneur is an individual who wishes to open or start an animation studio OR possesses an animated intellectual property to bring to market) to grow their businesses into sustainable and profitable animation companies.
The program will include master classes, workshops and seminars, all aimed at preparing each cohort of participants for market attendance at select international trade markets. Each participant will additionally work one-on-one with the Business Development Consultant in preparation for market attendance, as well as be assigned an executive mentor from an international studio for informal advisory. Additionally, the Programme will conduct investor preparedness to mitigate risk in financing the creation of local IP.
This exposure will further focus the international lens on Jamaica and go a long way to securing our place in the global animation economy.
